JP-8

JP -8 is fuel for military aircraft that are powered by turbojet or turboprop engines. Its characteristics are very similar to those of Jet A -1, but with anti-ice, anti-corrosion and antioxidant additives. Meets the specification AVIATION TURBINE FUEL GRADE - JP-8 (Spain/U.S.A.): MIL-DTL-83133H Amendment 2 (no SPK), and with the AVIATION TURBINE FUEL GRADE - JP-8 (AVTUR/FSII) (MoD U.K.): DEF STAN 91-87 Issue 6.
